  9. If you have previously installed Thumbs Up for Windows, you will see two 
  10. sets of icons for Thumbs Up, for Readme, and for Thumbs Up Lite Source.  
  11. Highlight the original icons, then select File, Delete to delete the 
  12. extra icons (using the original icons is not a problem, however, and will 
  13. still use the newly installed Thumbs Up files).

  15. Thumbs Up for Windows requires CTL3D.DLL.  If you don't have this loaded, 
  16. do the following steps:
  17.  
  18. 1).  Change to the C:\THUMBSUP subdirectory (or where ever you installed 
  19.       the files)
  20. 2).  Type the following to rename the file:
  21.       REN CTL3D.SAV CTL3D.DLL
  22. 3).  Thumbs Up for Windows will now run normally.  Click on the icon or use
  23.       Program Manager to run it.

  30. The database search engine, Alchemy, has been upgraded to include new 
  31. features, such as:

  35.     This simplifies moving through the program.  Press the right mouse 
  36.     button to see the available options.

  40.     Alchemy can now display more than one page of attached scanned

  42.     for many Adaptec host adapters.
